What will your typical day look like?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and drive the AU Industry strategy and growth ambition, priorities and demonstrate agility to respond to changing business needs
  • Manage, lead and inspire others to achieve excellent results and high performance. Report regularly on your performance and identify any risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Leverage Ap and global relationships and Industry/sector content to drive growth and collaboration opportunities that support AU GPS strategic growth objectives.
  • Support across Industry AI go-to-market agenda
  • Specific KPIs will be set, aligned to strategic growth priorities for the relevant industry, in consultation with the Industry Leader.

The Growth Enablement team drives and delivers the strategic programs, transformations and other activities that activate the Growth strategy of the firm. Growth Enablement is organised around four domains (Sales, Clients & Relationships, Industries, Sectors and Alliances and Brand & Marketing) with cross-Domain collaboration and alignment to our firm's strategic choices a central to our ways of working.

This role works closely with the relevant Deloitte Australia Industry leader to provide critical strategic and operational support across the industry group. This role reports to the Industry, Sector and Alliance Director.

The Senior Manager, Industry Lead is results-oriented and is responsible for enabling growth outcomes for the relevant industry through leadership of market choices (providing strategic guidance for industry and sector campaign activities), major pursuits and investments, Implement, Operate, alliances, and assets. This role works in collaboration with the broader industry team and is a trusted advisor to the relevant National Industry Leader to support the industry portfolio and deliver a range of strategic programs and initiatives.

The role will also support the collaboration and dissemination of our across Industry AI go-to-market agenda, coordinating the support of initiatives that drive market eminence, AI fluency and capability development through Industry Advantage.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experience:

  • 5-7+ years’ experience working in a role advising and influencing senior stakeholders, preferably in B2B
  • Strong communication skills, including with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong program/project management experience (specifically working with matrix reporting structures would be advantageous)
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and consult at a strategic level with senior stakeholders and deliver/execute against the strategy with tangible results
  • Manage and engage with a complex and matrix stakeholder group effectively
  • Understanding of how to impact the business bottom-line and achieve targets.
  • The ability to work collaboratively both locally and across the firm’s national, AP and global network.
  • Ability to influence and gain support from internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Willingness to be part of a national team, be collaborative and agile in response to market needs.
  • Deep understanding of how to influence and drive growth within professional services is highly desirable.
