With 3-5 years' experience as a mid to top tier commercial/corporate lawyer, join our inhouse legal team, supporting the business with interesting work in commercial law.

What will your typical day look like?

With responsibility for the delivery of legal services to a diverse range of internal stakeholders across Deloitte, there will be no typical day! You will work autonomously across a wide portfolio of Deloitte deals – including the delivery of consulting, audit, financial, tax and legal and risk advisory services across a broad range of industries.

‘Owning’ a distinct part of the portfolio, your role will have a dual focus, both developing and managing client stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor, whilst leading the review and negotiation of contracts for engagements and also being involved in providing strategic advice to the business.

You will be a curious and enthusiastic lawyer with minimum 3 years’ + PQE in commercial/corporate law, gained within a major law firm or a leading organisation or professional services firm. This role is perfect for a self-starter keen to support an area at the cutting edge of innovation.

You are someone with:

Experience working with MSAs, Consulting Services Agreement, Statements of Work, Subcontracts, and tender response.

  • A keen interest in taking ownership of matters and developing a portfolio of legal services within the Office of the General Counsel.
  • End to end contracting skills in commercial law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle a high-volume of matters, across all areas of the firm.
  • Ability to draft, review and negotiate a range of transactional documents and correspondence including MSAs for key local and global clients.
  • Ability to adapt to a growing business at an exciting time where service offerings are being regularly reviewed to meet changing needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an energetic, collaborative team.
  • Ability to “think outside the box” to present alternatives and solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
