Australia's biggest infrastructure projects need smart thinking long before they're built. Through our Graduate Program, you'll work with specialists shaping investment decisions, commercial strategy and delivery approaches for projects that connect communities, power the economy and support essential public services.

 

What will your typical day look like?

Day to day, you'll be supporting clients across the infrastructure project lifecycle, from early-stage strategy through to commercial structuring and delivery planning. You'll work on real project questions for government and private sector clients, helping teams assess options, build the case for investment and shape how major projects are procured and delivered.

 

  • Supporting business case development, options analysis and project feasibility work for major infrastructure and public service projects

  • Contributing to commercial strategy, contract design and risk allocation to help clients balance value, complexity and deliverability

  • Assisting with financial structuring, procurement design and delivery planning across large-scale infrastructure investments

 

As well as learning in the flow of work, you'll also be part of our firm-wide Graduate Program. You'll have a permanent, full-time role from day one, with structured learning, real-world client work, and hands-on projects to build your career. About the team

Our Strategy & Commercial Advisory team sits within Deloitte's Infrastructure & Industrials practice in Sydney. The team works where government and the private sector meet, supporting some of Australia's largest and most important infrastructure and critical service projects. You'll work across the full project lifecycle, from investment strategy and business case development through to commercial strategy, procurement design and delivery. The work spans social and economic infrastructure, with a strong focus on outcomes for clients, communities and the broader economy.

We're seeking final-year students or recent graduates (within two years) to join our Graduate Program.

 

You may have all or some of the following:

  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Interest in infrastructure strategy, commercial advisory and public sector project delivery

  • Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback

  • Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture

  • You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Law or a combination of these disciplines
