What will your typical day look like?


Expect to be grown and challenged as you help Australian organisations, not-for-profits and governments create value and improve the way they work they deliver services to their customers and our community. From growing our cities, exploring autonomous vehicle deployment, digitising healthcare or enabling better educational outcomes through future-focussed classrooms, we work with our clients to solve complex problems and provide them with solutions to some of the toughest challenges facing our community today.


You will bring an analytical yet creative mindset to advise Government and our clients on project feasibility and the design of potential options to meet their challenges. You will advise Government clients on the  preparation of compelling business cases to support their investment decisions, undertake cost benefit and financial analysis to assess the economic, financial and social impacts of investments, develop benefit realisation plans, and provide commercial advice on procurement strategies and delivery models.


You will also be provided the opportunity to develop our people, help to grow our relationships with existing and new clients and increase our capability and market reach.

What impact have we made?  


Our work is both challenging and rewarding. We have advised on some of the largest and most significant investments in NSW and Australia across a range of sectors, including transport, social services, public safety, health, education, urban and precinct development, land reform, technology, arts and culture and utilities. Examples of the impact we have made includes:


  • Quantified the impact of some significant capital works and policy changes made by the state government 

  • Conducted economic and financial analysis to support the development of business cases for significant infrastructure projects 

  • Helped state and Federal Government departments determine operating and revenue models for delivery of services 

  • Analysed the impact of recent severe weather events on vulnerable people in our community to help inform future government policy and practice amongst not-for-profit service providers

  • Facilitated delivery of services by advising Government on how to strategically procure services for the community.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You will have:  


  • Work experience, preferably, in consulting environment with Government clients or in the public sector

  • An understanding of major infrastructure projects and programs

  • An appreciation and/or experience of feasibility assessments and/or business cases for infrastructure projects

  • An understanding of the commercial and financial drivers of government investment, decision-making, policy and procurement

  • Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and support junior team members’ development

  • Experience in quantitative (financial and economic analysis) and qualitative analysis to support decision-making 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate financial and commercial analysis clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing)

  • A positive, collaborative and problem-solving approach

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Commerce, Finance, Law, Public Policy, Economics, Econometrics or Engineering)

  • Experience in financial and/or economic modelling is desirable.
