What will your typical day look like:
Based in our Pyrmont office, you will bring knowledge of systems in providing BAU support for the Firm’s financial systems and interfaces including issue resolution, system implementations and system improvements. This role will apply specialist knowledge and skills to enhance functionality of key finance systems, improve customer service, meet business needs and increase the efficiency of operation. 


About the team
Sitting under the National Finance team, the Business Systems team is a multidisciplinary team of technical and finance experts that essentially keep the company’s system operating. When our staff have trouble with finance systems and applications, they come to us! We are responsible for troubleshooting and system support.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
•    Experience supporting major Financial ERP software (Preferably SAP)
•    Extensive finance system accounting experience with exposure to core finance functions 
•    Demonstrated finance technical (Interfaces, systems and applications) and functional support experience.
•    Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills and a continuous drive for improvement in methods and processes
•    Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting needs/requirements and internal control procedures.
•    Experience with system testing including the development of test scripts, conduct of scripts and liaison with development team on resolution, desirable 
•    The ability to effectively identify and analyse problems, determine appropriate actions, and implement solutions.
•    Experience working in a mixed BAU and Projects environments
