At Deloitte Digital, our Experimentation team partners with large corporate clients to drive their digital growth through strategic experimentation programs. Formerly known as Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), our approach has evolved but the core objective remains the same: leveraging data-driven insights to enhance user experiences and maximise conversion rates. As a full-service team, we cover every aspect of the experimentation lifecycle, including strategy, design, development, QA, and reporting. This role particularly focuses on the strategic component, helping clients devise and implement effective experimentation strategies that yield measurable business outcomes.

What will your typical day look like?
As an Experimentation Strategist at Deloitte Digital, your day will be dynamic and engaging. You'll start by diving into both qualitative and quantitative data research to uncover key insights and identify problem areas that need addressing. With these insights, you'll develop robust experimentation strategies aimed at solving the identified problems. You’ll serve as the primary interface between your clients and the Deloitte Digital Experimentation Team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Managing resources effectively is a crucial part of your role; you’ll coordinate with designers, developers, and QA team members to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within budget. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with these teams to design and develop experiments that deliver measurable value for our clients. Finally, you'll report on the results of these experiments, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations based on the outcomes.

Required Experience:
We are looking for an Experimentation Strategist with a strong background in CRO and digital experimentation. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience running CRO programs (Preferred, but not mandatory).

Experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Webtrends, VWO, or AB Tasty.

Experience using user interaction tools like Hot Jar, Content Square, or Full Story.

Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics with strong data analysis skills.

Basic understanding of statistical significance and its role in A/B split testing.

Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand website structure and collaborate effectively with web developers.

Strong reporting skills, with the ability to explain why metrics changed rather than just reading numbers.

Strong leadership and initiative with the ability to take the lead and grow an entirely new service from scratch.

Near perfect attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Confidence in talking to business owners and marketing executives.

Experience working with project management systems such as Asana, ClickUp, or Basecamp.

Strong organisational skills.
