Ready to shape the future of work at Deloitte? We’re looking for a senior leader across Workplace, Facilities and Project Management to join our high-performing team and lead the operations that keep our national office network running at a 5-star standard.
Reporting to the Head of Group Property and Workplace, this role will see you work closely with senior stakeholders and trusted third parties as you drive continuous improvement across our workplaces—leveraging smart building technology and data-driven insights to enhance the employee and client experience and keep pace with the evolution of the modern workplace.
About the team
Our Client & Workplace Experience team is a high-performing, collaborative group dedicated to delivering premium service across Deloitte’s workplaces. We pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and creating an environment where both our people and our clients feel welcomed and supported.
What will your typical day look like?
With a remit across our 11 offices nationally, this is a broad and diverse role encompassing the following key areas:
- All aspects of Facilities Management
- Physical and building security including access, compliance to ISO certification and effective incident management
- Work Health and Safety - issues/crisis/emergency management and accessibility
- Sustainability – waste management, recycling and reuse, certifications and reporting
- Smart building technologies including booking systems, sensors and reporting
- Workplace Operations including management of a large outsource team who deliver the day-to-day services
- Business Continuity Planning and certification
- Vendor Management – strong working relationships and contract governance and liaison with global procurement for contract renewal and/or RFPs
- Office design – collaborate with consultants and architects to provide input into new office designs and modifications with a view to ensuring functionality
- Manage minor work programs and support large fit out projects including churn, relocations, testing and commissioning
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- 10+ years’ experience within high profile corporate organisations delivering workplace strategy and services in a fast moving and complex environment
- 5+ years in leading and developing talent, setting clear direction and accountability and leading teams through change
- Demonstrated track record of owning initiatives from problem definition through implementation, rollout and optimisation
- Expertise in supporting annual planning, resourcing and budget management
- Strong capability in supplier management including vendor/outsource partnerships, hard and soft services and commercial negotiations
- Excellence in guiding teams, collaborating across functions and translating strategy into practical, scalable delivery
- Strong influencing and communication skills
