At Deloitte, we’re on the lookout for a bold and visionary Director of National Innovation a leader ready to ignite creativity, drive transformation, and shape the future of one of Australia’s most dynamic professional services firms. Based in Sydney, you’ll be at the heart of Deloitte’s innovation agenda, leading national programs that inspire experimentation, spark collaboration, and turn big ideas into lasting impact. Reporting to the National Innovation Lead Partner, you’ll lead a passionate team of five and multiple project squads, championing new ways of thinking and embedding innovation as a core part of how we work, grow, and deliver for our clients.
What will your typical day look like?
- Lead Deloitte’s National Innovation Program, turning bold ideas into real impact.
- Connect strategy, creativity, and execution to make innovation part of everyday business.
- Design systems, tools, and frameworks that embed innovation across the firm.
- Inspire leaders and coach teams to experiment, collaborate, and deliver tangible outcomes.
- Partner with transformation, technology, and global innovation ecosystems to shape Deloitte’s future in areas like quantum, sustainability, and space.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
- 10+ years’ experience in innovation leadership, transformation, or venture building within large, complex organizations
- Proven success taking ideas from concept to launch, in both entrepreneurial and corporate innovation environments
- Strong experience facilitating innovation, applying design thinking, and influencing senior stakeholders
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to inspire engagement and drive change
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative ideation and disciplined execution
- Passion for fostering collaboration, curiosity and measurable impact across diverse teams
- Pragmatic judgment, analytical capability and a bias for action
