About the team 
Deloitte’s Risk Advisory Data Risk and Compliance Analytics team is focused on driving value for risk related transformations and remediation activities for our clients. Our team of experts are constantly curious and excited about combining our wonderful array of technological expertise to transform data into our clients’ most valuable assets, making their work smarter. 

 

We primarily seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations at all stages of the data transformation journey from designing the change required, to delivering and managing that change and providing assurance around change initiatives.

 

As a Director in our Data Risk team, you will work closely with the team and stakeholders to advise and deliver data governance solutions and frameworks. You will have a focus on data quality, regulatory compliance, data security and best practice data management across the entire data lifecycle.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you:
You are someone with: 

•    Experience leading the definition and implementation of data risk, data quality and data management solutions plus proven ‘go to market’ capabilities in these areas
•    Advanced knowledge and experience of data governance methods and frameworks
•    Strong analytical, investigative and research skills, including data analysis and presentation.
•    Has worked in complex stakeholder environments and fast paced environments.
•    FSI experience leading CPG235 data risk management and data linage programs plus experience preparing responses to industry regulators on data risk an advantage
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience)

 

What will you typical day look like? 
You will play a pivotal role in leading and developing data governance solutions to help our clients manage data risk more effectively in response to regulatory commitments. This may include leading the sale and delivery of data risk strategy programs and driving change in our clients to recommend and ultimately adopt best practice data management for their business. You will also play a key role in developing a growing practice area in risk advisory and mentoring other like minded consultants.
