Deloitte is looking for an experienced and dynamic leader with strong expertise in SOC advisory and control implementation, proven capabilities in team leadership, business development, and client engagement, and a deep understanding of cyber defence to drive outcomes and growth within Deloitte's SOC Advise and Implement team.

What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
As a Director in our SOC Advise and Implement team, you’ll play a key leadership role, driving impactful client engagements and business growth while nurturing a high-performing team.
Your day might include:
- Leading large, complex SOC transformation projects, ensuring deliverables align with client expectations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand their challenges and design tailored SOC strategies.
- Coaching and mentoring your team, fostering their development, and encouraging a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Engaging in business development activities, including identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and driving proposals to win new work.
- Staying ahead of emerging trends in cyber defence and advising clients on innovative solutions to strengthen their security posture.
- Representing Deloitte as a thought leader in cybersecurity at industry events, forums, and client meetings.
- No two days are the same – you’ll work with a variety of clients across industries and geographies, creating real impact in the cybersecurity space.

You are an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in SOC advisory and implementation, ready to take on a leadership role. You will have:
Strong Team Leadership
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage large, diverse teams.
- Experience building high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- A passion for mentoring and developing talent, supporting career growth across your team.
Sales and Business Development Expertise
- A track record of success in sales within the cybersecurity industry.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that exceed revenue targets.
- Strong industry network and relationships to drive business growth.
- Skill in identifying market opportunities and converting leads into clients.
Cyber Defence Knowledge and Experience:
- Deep understanding of cyber defence capabilities, including threat intelligence, incident response, and security operations.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity.
Client Engagement and Management
- Extensive experience leading end-to-end client engagements, from strategy development to execution.
- A client-centric approach, with excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and managing expectations effectively.
Key Position Tasks
As the Director for SOC Advise and Implement, you will:
- Lead and deliver large-scale SOC advisory and implementation engagements, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters.
- Drive the growth of the practice by identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and contributing to Deloitte’s market presence.
- Oversee the development of customised SOC strategies and solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs and maturity.
- Champion team development by mentoring staff, fostering a culture of innovation, and providing guidance on career growth.
- Monitor emerging trends in cyber defence to ensure Deloitte remains at the forefront of cybersecurity advisory and implementation.
