We’re looking for a high-calibre Specialist Senior Manager to join our Digital Workplace team within HR Transformation. What will your typical day look like?
The Senior Specialist Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex people analytics consulting engagements. This role requires deep expertise in HR analytics combined with strong consulting delivery capabilities and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects, build and maintain trusted client relationships at senior levels (CHRO, VP HR), lead high-performing project teams, and contribute to the growth and development of our People Analytics practice. This role involves working with clients at various stages of analytics maturity, from organisations beginning their analytics journey to those implementing enterprise platforms and predictive analytics capabilities.
Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership
- Lead end-to-end HR/people analytics consulting engagements.
- Manage project teams to deliver on scope, timeline, and budget.
- Act as primary senior client contact, ensuring high-quality deliverables and satisfaction.
- Manage risks, issues, and scope changes, escalating when needed.
- Identify opportunities to grow and extend client engagements.
People Analytics Strategy & Solutions
- Develop people analytics strategies, maturity assessments, and capability roadmaps.
- Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder alignment.
- Design end-to-end analytics solutions, including data strategy, integration, and visualisation.
- Create metrics frameworks and KPI structures for workforce measurement.
- Advise on platforms, technical architecture, data governance, privacy, and ethical data use.
- Provide thought leadership on people analytics methods and best practices.
Commercial & Business Development
- Scope and price new engagements and develop statements of work.
- Manage engagement economics, including budgets and forecasts.
- Support proposal development, pitches, and pipeline-building activities.
- Contribute to practice growth and business development initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor project team members.
- Manage team capacity and work allocation across engagements.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and support staff development.
- Develop new methodologies, frameworks, and delivery assets.
Internal Capability Building
- Participate in knowledge-sharing forums and contribute to internal capability development.

Sitting within Human Capital Consulting, our forward-thinking Digital Workplace team specialises in all things AI, emerging technology, service delivery, analytics and employee experience. We revamp the way our client companies work and craft beautifully designed, fully integrated systems with both established and emerging HR technology.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
- 8–12+ years’ experience in consulting, HR/people analytics, or related fields (Big 4/professional services a plus).
- Proven track record leading people analytics consulting engagements or technology implementations.
- Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects and senior client relationships (VP/C-suite).
- Strong expertise in people analytics maturity models, HR metrics, and workforce measurement practices..
- Ability to design data and HR system architectures that enable scalable analytics, AI integration, and enterprise-wide value.
- Experience developing ROI and time-to-value frameworks for people analytics and AI programs.
- Skilled with analytics platforms (e.g., Visier, OneModel, Workday Analytics) and familiar with the broader HR tech landscape (HRIS/HCM).
- Solid understanding of HR data structures, data quality issues, data governance, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Privacy Act 1988).
- Technical literacy across data modelling, ETL, BI/dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau), and analytics solution design.
- Strong scoping, estimation, risk management, and issue-resolution skills.
- Excellent written communication and confident facilitation of workshops and stakeholder sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams, with a collaborative, cross-functional working style.
