What will your typical day look like?
You will typically be part of or responsible for leading a data migration workstream on a large client project. You will need a range of skills from interviewing client stakeholders, capturing business problem statements, leading client workshops, designing, building and implementing data migration solutions, and communicating the impact of your results to your clients. As you grow, you will take up more senior level responsibilities across solutions, client relationships and business development, and coaching and mentoring junior members of the team

Our Data & AI team comprises of over 500 specialist practitioners across Australia, each of whom are constantly curious and excited about combining their business acumen and technological expertise to create data-centric solutions that help solve complex problems and transform or reinvent our client’s business.Our Data & AI team work with public and private sector clients helping them to design and implement world leading solutions and capabilities. From setting Data & AI strategy, building and scaling the platforms and tool to bring the strategy to life, through to accelerating our clients ability to develop and deploy GenAI models, we are the partner of choice for our clients and our alliance vendors.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
We are looking for someone that bring the following capabilities:
- 5-7 years experience in leading / executing data migration workstreams
- Experience in designing, planning and managing data migration and assurances processes from legacy systems to next generation cloud-based platforms (e.g. ERP, CRM, Finance)
- Experience in creating key data migration products, including data migration strategies, specification, data governance processes, data profiling & quality processes, testing & reconciliation frameworks
- Experience in assessing and identifying data migration impacts across other workstreams within a business transformation program
- Experience in data migration patterns (e.g. structured / unstructured)
- Experience with data engineering, data quality, data cleansing activities
- Experience of different delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall) across the project lifecycle (planning, discovery, implementation, go-live)
- Managing and developing high performing virtual teams
- Managing projects with demonstrated business impact from scoping through deployment
- Managing and communicating with a range of diverse stakeholders
Technical skills
- Data Engineering / ETL / Data Quality / Data Profiling skills with leading integration tools (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Informatica, Talend, Experian)
- Experience in working with SQL databases
- Experience with cloud services (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of various integration patterns
- Experience in or exposure to one or more data management disciplines such as, data governance, MDM, BI, reporting, data lakes, big data, cloud ecosystems
