Are you a Security Architect or Presales Specialist looking to take on an exciting new challenge developing security services solutions for Australia’s largest and most complex private sector and government accounts? We’re looking for a solution architect who has a strong understanding of the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) market to help develop and position our Cyber Intelligence Centre offerings with clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of cyber professionals with deep capabilities from cyber strategy and advisory through to managed services and cyber incident response.

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Security Architect / Managed Security Services Presales Specialist to lead and support presales activities for our MSS offerings. In this role, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor, working with our sales team to architect solutions that address complex security challenges for our clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to demonstrate the value of our managed services, design tailored security solutions and ensure successful engagements.
This role involves the following key activities:
- Consulting with clients to understand their security operations and cyber defence requirements
- Presenting to clients on Deloitte Cyber capabilities
- Shaping solutions to meet client requirements
- Developing managed security services proposals and RFx responses
- Developing pricing for complex solutions and services
- Working through contract negotiations to develop statements of work
- Working with subject matter experts to demonstrate our capability and show case top talent
- Working with alliance partners to develop joint value propositions
- Working with global peers to continuously develop and improve our managed service offerings
- Coaching and mentoring for other team members
Enough about us, Let’s talk about you
As a successful applicant, you will have:
- Experience working in presales roles for systems integrators or MSSPs.
- At least 3 years working in Cyber security
- University qualification or equivalent
- Ability to confidently present to both technical and business audiences
- Business development and relationship management skills
- Experience in bid qualification and ability to prioritise as needed to maximise win rate
- Strong communications skills and ability to build high quality proposals and RFx responses
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to coordinate bid response in tight timelines
- Ability to work with a diverse team with different cultures across the region
- and coordinate input from global collaborators
- Ability to keep pace with the continuously evolving threat landscape with the latest innovations and market trends
- Knowledge on SOC best practice architecture and operational processes
- Knowledge on cyber defence technologies and solutions such as SIEM, SOAR, UBA, EDR, NDR, cloud security, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, etc.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SABSA would be an advantage
