About the Role

We are currently looking for a high performing Consultant / Senior Consultant to join the National Partner Services team.  The successful candidate will gain exposure to complex and challenging tax and compliance matters with access to world class thought leadership.  

 

This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to:

  • Build strong relationships with internal clients whilst managing client’s needs and expectations, with a view to becoming the key contact
  • Prepare and review financial accounts and tax returns for a variety of entities including trusts, companies and other privately owned entities
  • Assist Principals/Directors/Managers with complex tax advisory projects
  • Assist with the management of the clients’ tax and cash flow commitments
  • Understand group structures with the ability to implement change
  • Keep up to date with new tax & compliance legislations
  • Develop your tax expertise whilst being part of a highly reputable organisation.

You will have strong communication skills with a passion for delivering superior customer service. You have exceptional attention to detail and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

 

You are someone who has:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a business services environment
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax laws
  • Experience in preparing tax returns and accounts for a variety of entities
  • A technical understanding of taxation, div 7A rules, trusts and superannuation is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to research and interpret tax legislations and ATO publications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to client service and working as part of an integrated service delivery team
  • CAANZ or CPA qualification
