What will your typical day look like?
The Climate Chief of Staff role is a senior leadership position that provides critical operational and strategic support to the National Leader for Climate, who is a member of the Firm’s National Executive. The position reports to the Climate National Leader with a strong dotted line to the Clients, Industries & Markets Enablement Pillar leader.

 

This role is a rare opportunity to work alongside one of the Firm’s Executive leaders as well as the Climate leadership team on an enterprise wide basis to help shape and drive the execution of the Firm’s overall Climate and Sustainability strategy. The project portfolio will be varied, you will work closely with some of Deloitte’s most senior leaders. You will also have the opportunity to work with other functions such as Responsible Business, Strategy & Transformation Office and the Activation Pillars of our Marketing, Communications and Business Development function.  

 

About the team:
CI&M acts as the custodians of the firm’s go-to-market strategy and ensure that the firm’s focus and investments are aligned to the CI&M strategic priorities to ensure we win and deliver impactful work for our most important clients.  CI&M is led by the Managing Partner, CI&M and a wider group of senior partners– together they form the CI&M Executive.

You are someone with:

  • Passion about Climate and Sustainability, ideally with subject matter expertise 
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to execute against the strategy and demonstrate results 
  • Excellent program management skills and strong financial acumen
  • Experience in a Professional Services environment and how to navigate through the complexity to deliver outcomes 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly to a range of audiences
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver outcomes while remaining within a financial framework/metrics 
  • Strong decision-making ability and capacity to exercise sound judgement and diplomacy
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly focused professional services environment
