We are looking for a Business Resilience Analyst to join our enterprise resilience team. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop a career in business continuity as part of the broader internal Quality & Risk function at Deloitte Australia.

 

What will your typical day look like? 
Reporting to Deloitte’s Business Resilience Leader, your primary role will be to assist in the development, execution, and improvement of our ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System.  You’ll learn about Deloitte’s businesses and help them identify and document continuity threats and their potential impacts. 

 

Working as part of our broader internal Business Security team, you will build close relationships with internal teams such as Legal, ITS, Talent and Marketing as well as partners and staff across the business and will have every opportunity to develop a highly rewarding profile across Deloitte.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support our Business Resilience Leader and the continuous improvement of our business continuity management system;
  • Grow your knowledge of business continuity principles, frameworks and practices;
  • Provide guidance to our business teams as they develop their business continuity plans;
  • Support the creation of business continuity training and awareness courses;
  • Design and conduct testing on the business continuity plans, providing support and guidance to the different business teams;
  • Monitor and record the progress, success and challenges of continuity scenario tests;
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement of individual continuity plans and our overall business continuity management system.

Our Business Security team is busy building a world-class information security, confidentiality, privacy, and business resilience capability to protect our people, our reputation and the information in our custody. We are a strategic partner to the business working hard to enable them to take rewarded risks while minimising negative outcomes; in doing so we are building tomorrow’s Deloitte.

You have passion, you are be eager to learn from and work with the best.  Most importantly, you have a desire to research, analyze, and understand the critical components of business delivery and what must be done if the unthinkable happens.

You have strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’re great at dinner party conversations and consider yourself to be an above average author.

 

If you’ve got a year or two of business continuity or related professional experience, then we’d love to talk to you. 

 

No? Then you may be a new cyber or business graduate with some exposure to business resilience or risk management.   Perhaps you’re a business process analyst or IT project manager looking to change career paths and get into the information security field.
