What will your day at Deloitte look like?

  • Requirement analysis and design: Work closely with clients and our broader teams to understand solution requirements, then create clear and detailed design specifications to meet those needs.
  • Implementation and testing: Develop cloud-native, API-based, and modern integration solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and meeting both functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct thorough integration testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues to maintain smooth solution delivery.
  • Being a team player: Actively support your peers through code reviews, specification reviews, and by sharing your expertise to help others grow.
  • Client interaction and collaboration: Engage with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
  • Learning and problem-solving: Stay up to date with the latest technical trends and explore innovative ways to solve complex problems.
  • Contributing to the broader Engineering practice: Share knowledge, help develop internal assets and accelerators, and take part in initiatives that strengthen our engineering community.

We’re looking for passionate Azure Integration Engineers to join our Deloitte Engineering Practice – a team of specialists in platform engineering, cloud-native development, integration engineering, and AI engineering. This is your opportunity to advance your career while helping shape Australia’s digital future.

As part of a high-performing team, you’ll tackle some of our clients’ most complex cloud and AI challenges, delivering enterprise-grade solutions on Azure. You’ll work alongside thought leaders and experienced mentors and contribute to innovative projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies and GenAI-accelerated delivery.

Interpersonal and soft skills:

  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to solve problems and take initiative.
  • A keen interest in accelerating delivery for clients through the latest in Gen AI tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork, support, and inclusion.
  • Comfortable working in a consulting environment.
  • Desirable: Experience working with Agile approaches.
  • Desirable: Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.

 

Technical skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience developing Web APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience with automated unit testing.
  • Understanding of various integration patterns.
  • Experience using GenAI-assisted software delivery productivity tools.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar source control and CI/CD platforms.
  • Highly desirable: Experience delivering solutions on Azure using services such as API Management, App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Container Apps, and AKS.
  • Highly desirable: Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep or Terraform, and scripting.
  • Desirable: Experience with OpenAPI specifications.
  • Desirable: Relevant Azure professional certifications.
