What will your typical day look like?
Every day in Assurance will be different, but we can promise that you’ll gain enviable client-facing skills as you craft and deliver creative solutions for our clients’ most complex problems! You can also expect to practice and sharpen your communication and presentation skills as you assist with the preparation of project plans and reports.  We don’t just understand our clients’ businesses, we excavate major opportunities and identify risks beyond traditional financial reporting functions.  Oh, and you’ll also get to use the latest tech tools to develop creative solutions. About the teams
Our supportive and diverse team works across number of pillars, which means we hire from a range of degrees:

 

Accounting & Reporting Assurance:  Our teams in Accounting & Reporting Assurance work across Finance Technology, Regulatory Compliance and Finance Process Improvements to support corporates and the public sector. We are specialists in finance function assurance, large accounting transactions and specialised finance outsourcing providing advice across a wide range of industries and various levels of government.

 

Degrees: Accounting 

 

 

Sustainability & Climate:  Our highly diverse and multi-disciplinary team combines deep subject matter expertise, strategic thinking, and data and technology to meet the equally diverse and fast-evolving needs of our clients. Our practice’s experience and expertise spans strategy ESG, impact measurement, climate change, reporting and social sustainability across a range local and global standards and frameworks supporting complex and diverse reporting and advisory client engagements. You will be part of a leading practice working with the best clients and with the guarantee of no day being the same.

 

Degrees: Environmental Science, Climate & Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Biodiversity and/or Accounting, Finance

 

 

Treasury & Capital MarketsOur banking, government and corporate client service offerings to Australia's largest publicly owned companies, global corporates, private businesses and the three tiers of government are delivered by a team of specialists through advisory and audit channels. Our differentiated support covers all aspects of treasury and financial risk management, including governance, controls, regulatory advice, accounting for derivatives, treasury technology, global cash management, outsourced accounting, model validation, credit provisioning and internal/external audit support, to name a few.

Controls Assurance - Business Risk: We advise Australia’s top businesses and organisations on their internal control environments and our services include controls transformation, internal audit, risk culture, third-party assurance, and risk management solutions.  Working across a broad range of clients that includes some of Australia’s largest and most complex organisations, our teams deploy their risk, internal controls and culture expertise to strengthen our clients' control frameworks through pragmatic risk-based solutions. You will be joining a supportive and client centric team, committed to creating meaningful opportunities for our people across our world class client base.

Controls Assurance - Technology RiskOperating as part of a global team, we are a leader in the Australian market focussed on helping our client manage their technology risks through delivery of technology assurance, IT internal audit and technology controls advisory projects. You will be joining a collaborative and client focussed team and have the opportunity to advise and consult to some of Australia’s largest and most significant organisations.  We are committed to helping our clients strengthen IT governance, technology risk, and IT controls that are critical to protecting brand and stakeholder value.

 

Degrees: IT / Computer Science and Accounting (combination)
