Are you a complex problem solver by nature who finds satisfaction in seeing your strategies succeed? 


What will your typical day look like? 

As part of your role, you will be exposed to a full range of advisory engagements including independent business reviews, financial restructuring, turnaround and distressed M&A engagements. You will work to diagnose root causes of client underperformance, design programs to improve their operations and profitability, generate cash and carry out transformations. Your natural talent in negotiation and influencing is sure to grow as you support a wide range of stakeholders with recommending and implementing turnaround strategies.


About the team 

Our Restructuring Services team specialises in offering sophisticated advice and innovative solutions to companies facing stress or disruption. Working with senior stakeholders including CEOs, CFOs, MDs, and financiers, we advise on strategies to avoid and protect against business failure. This encompasses both complex insolvency and consensual / non-insolvency outcomes such as financial restructuring / refinancing, profit improvement programs, cash generation, and operational change.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You are someone with: 

  • at least 8 years’ experience in restructuring advisory, ideally with a background in insolvency
  • pragmatic commercial acumen – able to identify risks and develop solutions to manage those risks, with the ability and willingness to deal with ambiguity and change
  • excellent financial analysis skills and ability to prepare incisive reports to convey client recommendations
  • experience supporting the management of distressed businesses in managing their stakeholders including financiers, regulators, employees, suppliers, and shareholders
  • ability to work hands-on, overseeing and directing multi-disciplinary teams on restructuring advisory engagements
