This is an exciting opportunity for a career focussed individual to join our Deloitte Automotive practice based in Sydney. This will be a great opportunity to leverage your automotive industry knowledge and apply it through the delivery of advisory services while building relationships with clients in the automotive sector. 



What will your typical day look like?

We work with dealerships, OEMs, and industry bodies to deliver insights and recommendations that improve business performance and profitability. This is through developing data insights, benchmarking, coaching, training and dealer optimisation.

You will be responsible for working with a range of clients in the automotive industry to analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and risks across the retail automotive business, contribute to market analysis reports, provide training and technical support on Deloitte ProfitFocus™ and maintain trusted relationships with key industry participants.

We are comprised of automotive experts with vast experiences across all aspects of dealer and OEM operations combined with Deloitte professionals with deep technical expertise. Our team is proud to work with dealerships, OEMs, distributors, financiers and manufacturers across Australia and New Zealand.

The provision of exceptional advisory, consulting, training and coaching is at the core of the Deloitte Automotive practice.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

 

  • 3+ years’ experience in professional services or corporate organisation
  • Experience in customer facing roles – retail, professional services, corporate roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Strong understanding of data analytics
  • Highly organised individual who can work across multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated/driven to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious nature and a willingness to learn
  • Strong oral and communication skills - ability to adapt to different cultures/individuals, where one communication style will not work for all
