AI UX & Transformation Consultant

The AI,UX & Transformation consultant will serve as a vital member of our Service Delivery Transformation (SDT) team, using AI and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency, drive consistency and quality and improve client and practitioner experience. The assets and solutions we design and build aim to transform how our teams deliver engagements and services to clients.  

 

What will your typical day look like? 

  • Leading the discovery, development and deployment of transformation initiatives  

  • Prepare and facilitate workshops to gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers, SMEs and internal/external stakeholders  

  • Performing “hands on” design support to create wire frames, prototypes and user testing 

  • Collaborate with our internal design team to drive consistency and efficiency in the UX process 

 

Key Accountabilities:  

  • Collaborate across multiple software teams to champion design best practices 

  • Work with engineers, data scientists and stakeholders across disciplines 

  • Bring an experimental mindset - comfortable testing new tools and workflows  

  • Report to the Design Lead to ensure timings and standards are met 

  • Work with SMEs to understand pain points, capture requirements, and identify priority use cases 

  • Document and validate problem statements, current workflows, and estimated benefits  

  • Coordinate with technical leads to assess feasibility existing platforms to accelerate build time 

  • Develop scoping artefacts and socialise with sponsors and SMEs 

  • Ability to prompt effectively for design ideation, UI generation, or content generation, understanding how to validate and refine AI-generated outputs to maintain design quality 

  • Manage backlog grooming and sprint planning, working with the dev team to refine stories, prioritise features and flag blockers 

  • Prepare prototypes or walkthroughs for stakeholder and SME feedback 

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:  

  • Strong UX capabilities with experience of design thinking and human centred design 

  • UX portfolio of web applications with case studies 

  • Experience with GenAI tools that augment wire framing and rapid prototyping 

  • A minimum 2 years relevant work experience in business transformation, operational improvement or project management / governance roles 

  • Experience supporting or leading process improvement, service model redesign, or operating model transformation initiatives 

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment, managing multiple priorities, and working both independently and in teams 

  • Ability to turn complex business problems into simple and engaging products  

  • Well-developed workshop design and facilitation skills with strong stakeholder management 

  • Excellent documentation / presentation skills and managing project deliverables 

  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional energy and drive
