What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte’s AI & Data team is transforming how businesses leverage cloud-native technologies to solve complex challenges in data, machine learning, and AI.  We’re helping client design and implement their Agentic strategy and drive significant productivity changes and create business value. A key tenant of our strategy is to work closely with leading technology partners to enable clients to achieve their AI ambition.

As a Value & Adoption Lead you carry Serving Clients and Show, Don’t Tell most visibly: you reframe client conversations around demonstrable AI-enabled value and make sure every proposal carries a bold, outcome-changing idea. You are measured on the value you create – client outcomes, gross margin and team sales – and you set the standard for how value is articulated, sold and realised.

About the team

Our AI & Data team comprises more than 500 specialist practitioners across Australia, each of whom are constantly curious and excited about combining their business acumen and technological expertise to create AI and data-centric solutions that help solve complex problems and transform or reinvent our clients’ business.

Our AI & Data team work with public and private sector clients, helping them design and implement world-leading solutions and capabilities. From solving air and ground transport network issues through our industry-first Optimal Reality digital twin solution, to bringing automation capabilities to vaccine rollout programs and helping our clients move to a sustainable world, we are the partner of choice for our clients and our alliance vendors.

Our technology relationships with market-leading vendors such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake and Informatica enable our practitioners to be at the forefront of new and emerging capabilities and to deliver our suite of services at scale. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

 We are looking a Consultant that bring the following capabilities: 

• 2+ years in Data and/or ML Engineering, with hands-on experience in either Python or SQ, dbt highly regarded
• Advanced SQL and database skills
• Strong grasp of Data fundamentals, preferably with experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or other storage solutions.
• Experience with Data modelling will be highly regarded
• Hands-on development experience in at least one of the major hyper scaler platforms - AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Snowflake
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is highly regarded
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a flexible and dynamic environment.
• Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
