Underpinned by the global Deloitte Smart Factory network, we take a holistic approach to raising performance, and enable clients to drive increased value within and beyond the four walls of their manufacturing operations, while ensuring that people and processes are part of the successful technology transformation strategy.

 

This is an exciting, growing, and highly visible area within Deloitte that has some of the most innovative, bright, and disruptive minds applying new thinking, new ideas, and new solutions to new problems across manufacturing sectors including Med Tech, Food & Beverage, Mining, Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, and Renewables.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As an Analyst in the Smart Manufacturing team, you will provide excellent client service and apply your experience to:

  • Ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients by maintaining a strong commitment to excellence, supporting their business and smart manufacturing objectives.
  • Assist with key activities to help solve our clients’ key challenges they face across manufacturing operations.
  • Develop compelling narratives that are well research and written supported by best practice frameworks and research.
  • Work collaboratively to up and cross skill your ability and knowledge while uplifting those around you.
  • Dive between technical, tactical, and strategic work to support and build skill in all aspects of Smart Manufacturing including Strategy, Systems & Software Engineering.
  • Attend training on your Smart Manufacturing area of interest with aim to become a subject matter expert to provide elite advice both internally and externally.
  • Support leaders in discovery of new market opportunities and prepare proposals and scope new client engagements.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

  • Exhibit a keen interest in Smart Manufacturing, from consultancy, design, and implementation through to sustainment, and be involved in the engineering processes and/or information systems to support that.
  • Have a degree where you have completed units relating to Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, Project Management, Configuration Management, Software Engineering.
  • Understanding of key concepts to project manage complex digital transformations in manufacturing sectors.
  • You will understand how to map business processes, define requirements, design solutions and test and validate implementations.
  • You will show acumen on collating, summarising research, standards, regulations and best practice on smart manufacturing, engineering, and related software and processes.
  • Be an Australian citizen with the willingness to apply for Defence security clearance.
  • Any previous experience in the Ignition platform by Inductive Automation would be seen as highly beneficial.
