At Deloitte’s Capital & Program Advisory team in Perth, you will work at the forefront of strategy to execution transformation across Australia’s largest asset-intensive organisations - spanning energy, mining, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
We help executive teams improve capital productivity, redesign operating models, unlock structural cost improvement and embed AI-enabled performance uplift across major assets and programs.

What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant/ Manager, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, analytics and operational delivery. You will:
- Lead problem-solving workstreams addressing complex strategic and operational challenges
- Structure ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, analysis and actionable recommendations
- Translate insights into executive-ready narratives that influence decision-making
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and build trusted relationships
- Coach and develop junior team members within a high-performance team environment
- Work alongside a high performing team which is made up of a diverse set of capability backgrounds including economics/commerce, engineering, maths and science
- Have access to Deloitte’s extensive training and development (both structured and on-the-job) to foster your career growth
- Get creative with contributions to the Deloitte practice to help us build a better, stronger internal culture and give back to our communities
About the team
Deloitte’s Capital and Program Advisory team partners with Australia’s largest asset-intensive organisations to improve performance across the full asset lifecycle. Whether it’s improving asset performance, reducing costs, controlling critical risks, or leading large scale transformation programs for asset intensive organisations, we offer services to bring about lasting change for a client’s business. Our services involve helping clients optimise their operations and make informed decisions, align their organisation around common goals and ways of working, and making simple, practical changes that not only build rapid pathways to value, but can be sustained for the long term through cultural change and operational discipline.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
We’re looking for exceptional talent who combine intellectual horsepower with humility and drive. You will likely have:
- 4 -7+ years’ experience in management consulting, strategy, transformation or operational improvement
- Strong structured problem-solving capability
- Experience leading analysis and synthesising complex information into clear insights
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
- Experience in asset-intensive industries (energy, mining, infrastructure) highly regarded
- A track record of delivering measurable impact
But more importantly, you are a highly motivated individual who:
- Thrives in ambiguity, thinks critically and creatively to approach problem-solving in a unique way
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Takes ownership
- Brings a sense of curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas
- Thrives in collaborative environments and has experience working in teams with a passion to develop others as well as self
