We have several opportunities to join our team, from Senior Analyst roles to Senior Manager roles, with competency requirements focused on Internal Audit, Controls Advisory & Assurance, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (PCAOB/SOX), and Technology Assurance.

 

What will your typical day look like?  

Our goal is to deliver differentiated internal audit services and to transform risk management through harnessing the power of digital and data. As an Analyst or Senior Analyst in our team, you will deliver internal audit and controls assurance and advisory engagements across various sectors and help our clients identify and manage their risks.

Working in a dynamic environment you will build strong relationships across our national team and be given client facing responsibility across a range of projects in multiple industries. You will also develop your technical and advisory skills, lead junior team members and contribute to our strong team culture.   

 

About the team  

In Controls Assurance, we offer controls advisory services to first and second line teams.  We help organisations improve their risk and controls management capability.  We undertake internal audit and assurance activity in a third line functional capacity.  Our team works with leading ASX companies and public sector organisations to help them improve and modernise their risk and control environment.  

  

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make the complex simple
  • A fast learner and a passion for sharing knowledge with the broader team, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and risks and developing junior professionals
  • Proven ability to plan and execute process risk and control engagements and critically analyse results to devise targeted mitigation plans
  • Strong understanding of business processes and controls and an ability to employ an insights driven approach to controls assessment to enable real-time analysis and informed decisions
  • Exposure to controls advisory and controls assurance engagements, particularly exposure to technology governance and assurance, PCAOB external audit and Sarbanes Oxley Controls experience (highly desirable)
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with an ability to lead interactions with the business stakeholders to gather key information
  • Thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment and can adopt different working styles to meet different methodologies and approaches
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CA certificates are preferred but not a mandatory requirement. Experience in data analytics and information systems are equally considered a bonus.
