This is a Senior Analyst opportunity in our IT Internal Audit team, where you'll deliver meaningful assurance work that helps clients navigate risk, strengthen trust and improve resilience.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you'll support the delivery of IT internal audit and technology assurance engagements from planning through to reporting. That could mean testing technology controls, assessing governance and risk frameworks, and translating technical findings into clear, practical recommendations for client stakeholders.

Your work will help major organisations strengthen the systems and controls that protect their operations, people and reputation. You'll contribute to assurance outcomes that matter, particularly in environments shaped by increasing regulatory focus, cyber risk and operational resilience expectations.

Working closely with colleagues across the Control Assurance practice, you'll get exposure to varied clients, emerging technology risks and complex control environments. The pace is consulting-led, but the work is grounded in real client problems, strong teamwork and the chance to steadily build your capability and profile.

About the team

Deloitte's Control Assurance practice helps organisations understand, assess and strengthen their risk and control environments. Within the IT Internal Audit team, that includes internal audits, technology assurance and controls testing across areas such as IT governance, operational resilience and data security. It's a team that works at the intersection of risk, technology and trust, helping clients respond to changing expectations while building stronger, more resilient businesses.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• 3+ years' experience in IT internal audit, technology risk, advisory or consulting roles

• Experience supporting or delivering IT audit or assurance engagements, including planning, controls testing and reporting

• Strong understanding of technology controls, governance and risk management frameworks

• Familiarity with assurance standards such as SOC 1 and SOC 2, and regulatory frameworks including APRA CPS 234, CPS 230 and CPG 235

• The ability to explain technical findings clearly to a range of stakeholders

• Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP are highly regarded
