Join Deloitte as a Manager in our Conflicts team, based in Melbourne, Sydney or Perth, and play a key role in protecting the firm through smart, practical risk advice.

What will your typical day look like?

As a member of the Conflicts team within Deloitte's Quality and Risk group, you'll provide trusted advice on conflicts of interest across a wide range of engagements and business activities. That means reviewing conflict checks, assessing matters involving third parties, and working through issues such as probity, exclusivity, and other contractual risk considerations.

Your work will help the firm make informed decisions quickly and confidently, while protecting Deloitte's brand and reputation. You'll manage conflicts declarations, support the resolution of both commercial and personal conflicts, and apply policy to real situations where judgement really matters.

Working closely with partners, senior leaders, and teams across the firm, you'll also help improve the way we work. From refining processes, systems, and tools to training junior team members and educating stakeholders on conflict matters, this is a role with plenty of variety, visibility, and influence.

About the team

Deloitte's Conflicts team sits within Quality and Risk and plays an important role in supporting the firm in a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary environment. The team partners with leaders and stakeholders across the business to identify, assess, and manage conflicts of interest, helping Deloitte grow responsibly while protecting the integrity and reputation of the firm.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• 3-6 years of experience in a risk management function, ideally in professional services, public accounting, or financial services

• Ability to interpret policy and apply it to real-world situations with sound judgement

• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with a broad range of seniority levels

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly

• A collaborative working style and genuine willingness to learn from others

• Experience improving processes, tools, or documentation in a risk or compliance environment

• Capability to troubleshoot issues, manage competing priorities, and make decisions that support the firm

• Experience coaching or developing junior team members would be valued
