Our specialist Valuations team provides valuation opinions and advice in situations of strategic change and commercial importance. We assist clients in managing and reporting on value for a variety of purposes, including mergers & acquisitions, strategy selection, financial reporting, tax, and litigation. We value enterprises, shares and intangible assets (such as technology and brands) across all industries.

What will your typical day look like?
Your work will be varied and will offer an outstanding opportunity to develop your skills in corporate finance, value advisory and project management. You will be exposed to a range of clients, including multi-nationals, high-growth companies, financial institutions, private equity and legal firms.
 
More specifically, working in a supportive and collegial team, you will be involved in:
•    in-depth company, economic, industry, capital markets and competitor research, data analysis and benchmarking
•    employment of various valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow, earnings multiples, excess earnings, comparative sales and replacement cost methods, capital asset pricing model, etc.
•    bespoke financial modelling to facilitate the valuations, including scenario, sensitivity, and statistical analysis
•    the development, review and interpretation of analysis, along with developing and presenting clearly articulated and insightful conclusions in written and verbal form
•    working in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
•    developing and maintaining key relationships across our client base, with a focus on exceptional client service
•    supporting the delivery of high-profile engagements, including tracking against timelines and budgets

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
Our preferred candidate is a valuation-enthusiast displaying.  You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:
•    a blend of financial qualifications and experience in corporate financial reporting and/or financial analysis that demonstrates exceptional analytical skills. Experience in valuations with an understanding of generally accepted valuation methodologies is highly regarded
•    an interest in market conditions and how value is derived
•    excellent written and verbal communications skills
•    a willingness to collaborate, an inquisitive mind and a strong desire to learn
•    the ability to think unconventionally, and develop solutions to commercial problems
•    the ability to proactively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
