What will your typical day look like?
Every day you’ll build your skills and knowledge through practical, hands-on experience. You’ll work alongside professionals who are experts in their field, contribute to real client projects, and build your capability through feedback and support.
As a Graduate in the Controls Assurance Technology Risk team, you’ll:
- Get immediate exposure working on real engagements and projects
- Engage with top-tier clients across a broad range of industries and sectors
- Work alongside the wider team to advise clients on tech risk, including risk management, internal audit and controls transformation
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.
About the team
Operating as part of a global practice the Technology Risk team within Controls Assurance is a leader in the Australian market, focused on helping our clients manage their technology risks through the delivery of technology assurance, IT internal audit and technology controls advisory projects. We are committed to helping our clients strengthen their IT governance, technology risk, and IT controls, which are critical to protecting brand and stakeholder value.
You'll be part of a team working with clients across industries on practical, risk-focused work that matters.

We’re seeking applications from penultimate-year students to join our Vacationer program. You may have all or some of the following:
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Interest in risk and advisory work with enviable stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence to ask questions and learn through feedback
- Alignment with Deloitte’s values and inclusive culture
- You'll be studying a relevant degree in Computer Science, IT or Business Information Systems preferably in combination with Accounting/Finance
