Global Client Account Manager (CAM) | Senior Manager | Perth

Deloitte is looking for an experienced Client Account Manager to support a priority global account. You will work closely with the account leadership team and help deliver world class, client-focused outcomes.

 

What will your typical day look like? 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading global and local account planning processes and supporting the client service team to drive account improvements. This includes working with other global account managers to drive one strategy across the account
  • Supporting early identification of strategic opportunities, and helping support opportunity leaders progress their pursuits through early stage sales support.
  • Driving high performance account operations by connecting cross-firm teams, bringing best practice from Global and other industry-aligned accounts, driving appropriate account cadence, and developing impactful Client Service Team and Leadership meetings including agendas, speakers, and engaging topics
  • Building relationships with key senior Deloitte client leaders within the Core Leadership team
  • Assisting relationship stewards within Deloitte to build advocacy in their relationships and across the client team
  • Working with and connecting all Business Units to bring the best of Deloitte in go-to-market activities to deliver ‘real’ value for your assigned client
  • Staying up to date, and contributing to industry and sector calls/initiatives/community.
  • Undertaking client feedback interviews and win/loss reviews to generate key client insights, identification of trends and sharing these with account teams
  • Supporting key account pursuits through understanding the client’s strategic objectives and helping identify and bring the most relevant resources
  • Developing reports across account metrics such as revenue, forecasting, pipeline activity and major pursuits
  • Capturing insights that can be shared with the client to enhance the strategic partnership by communicating the value delivered through engagements / interactions.
  • Procurement and panel management, including building your procurement relationships
  • Developing and managing internal and external communications across the Australian and global practices including newsletters, strategic events, and account wins and insights
  • Opportunity to coach and mentor other industry-aligned account managers
  • Driving and developing offshore resources to support account operations and improve their understanding of account strategy and growth.

 

About the team 

Reporting into the Client Domain and working directly with the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) and Client Service Team (CST), you will be involved in all levels of strategic account management, including client relationship development, helping leadership define account strategies, driving major opportunities and understanding client needs, through to the day-to-day execution, monitoring and reporting of account operations.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in an Account Management or similar role and preferably (though not compulsory) previous experience within a matrix account management environment
  • A strong understanding of account planning, setting the account direction and working with the LCSP to develop longer term strategies to drive the account from good, to great, to awesome
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, know when make sound judgement calls and when to delve deeper with senior leaders
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and manage projects to conclusion
  • Can work independently, in a high-performance team environment and collaborate with firm wide resources
  • An energetic and engaging style who can influence senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management, or ability to learn quickly
