Are you a leader in the property advisory field, ready to drive the strategy for Australia's most critical infrastructure and Defence estate programs? As a Director in our Infrastructure & Industrials team, you will lead high-stakes engagements that shape the future of our nation's most significant property and infrastructure assets.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Director, you will operate at a senior strategic level, leading major advisory engagements for our Defence and Commonwealth clients. You will be the key advisor on their most complex property transactions, portfolio strategies, and precinct-scale developments. A significant part of your role will be providing expert guidance on Commonwealth frameworks, including the Commonwealth Property Disposals Policy and the Lands Acquisition Act 1989.
You will drive business development initiatives, cultivate senior government relationships, and contribute to steering the growth of our practice. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and insight on our most complex real estate challenges.
About you
You are an established leader with extensive experience in a senior property advisory, transaction management, or development role. Your background could be in real estate, valuations, precinct development, town planning, and/or engineering. You have a deep, nuanced understanding of the Defence and/or Commonwealth property environment, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and providing strategic estate advice.
You are adept at navigating government policy and legislation, particularly concerning property transactions and acquisitions. Your strengths lie in business development, senior stakeholder management, and inspirational team leadership. A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of this work, you must be an Australian citizen and either hold a current NV1 security clearance or be eligible to obtain one. Deloitte will sponsor and support the right candidate through the security clearance process.
