Our specialist Valuations team provides valuation opinions and advice in situations of strategic change and commercial importance. We assist clients in managing and reporting on value for a variety of purposes, including financial and/or tax reporting, mergers & acquisitions, strategy selection, and litigation. We value enterprises, shares and intangible assets (such as technology and brands) across a wide range of industries.

What will your typical day look like?
Your work will be varied and will offer an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in corporate finance, value advisory and project management. You will be exposed to a range of clients, including multi-nationals, high-growth companies, financial institutions, private equity and legal firms.
More specifically, working in a supportive and collegial team, you will be involved in:
• in-depth company, economic, industry, capital markets and competitor research, data analysis and benchmarking
• employment of various valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow, earnings multiples, excess earnings, comparative sales and replacement cost methods, capital asset pricing model, etc.
• financial modelling to assist with providing valuation advice, including performing scenario, sensitivity, and statistical analysis• interpreting analysis, and developing and presenting clearly articulated and insightful conclusions in written and verbal form
• working in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• learning from experienced valuation specialists through coaching and mentoring
• building trusted relationships across our client base, with a focus on outstanding client service
• supporting the delivery of high-profile engagements, including helping to deliver projects on time and within budget

We're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and excited to build a career in valuations. You may bring some of the following skills or experience::
• a blend of financial qualifications and experience in corporate financial reporting and/or financial analysis
• experience in valuations with an understanding of generally accepted valuation methodologies
• an interest in market conditions and learning how value is derived
• excellent written and verbal communications skills
• a willingness to collaborate, an inquisitive mind and a strong desire to learn
• the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
