What will your typical day look like?  

 

In this Perth based role, you will engage directly with high profile public and private sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority asset and operational related problems.

 

You will also:

 

  • Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive profitability and performance.
  •  Work on some of the most challenging private and public sector programs across sectors including Mining, Ports, Energy and Utilities.
  •  Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics and experience from our global consulting network.
  •  Undertake extensive operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job) with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments.

About the team

 

In the asset team, we work with our clients across the breadth of an Asset Life Cycle, with core support areas being:

 

  • Strategic Asset Management Planning aligned with ISO5500
  • Asset Planning and Optimisation
  • Asset Management Transformation and Performance Improvement
  • Asset Risk, Safety, and Integrity Management
  • Studies and Project Delivery
  • Maintenance and Operational readiness
  • Asset Decarbonisation and Electrification
  • Asset Closure
  • Asset Management Learning and Development
  • Asset leader Coaching and Mentoring
  • Asset Health and Reliability support

In response to strong client demand for our services we are currently seeking outstanding consultants for our Asset Management team. We encourage anyone with asset management, operations or transformation / change experience across variety of industries, such as mining, energy and resources and transportation to apply.

 

You are someone with: 

 

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in asset-intensive industries, preferably in Resources and Energy, with a strong focus on Maintenance and Asset Management practices.
  • Strong understanding of asset management concepts, reliability and maintenance optimization techniques, and spare part management.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients.
  • Strong and adaptable facilitation and communications skills.
  • Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents etc.).
  • Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches / frameworks.
  • Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas.
  • Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self.
