Construction Project Manager/Contract Administrator
Perth, WA, AU Canberra, ACT, AU
Job Requisition ID: 40889
Are you passionate about solving complex challenges and helping to shape Australia's future? We are looking for a dynamic Manager to join our Infrastructure & Project Solutions team, working on large-scale projects that make a real impact for our clients and society.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Manager in our team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of the entire asset lifecycle. Our team advises on some of Australia’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on Federal Government and Defence clients. You will be responsible for managing projects from initial strategy and planning through to execution and completion. Your day-to-day activities will include overseeing project budgets, timelines, and contract administration, while managing key stakeholders to ensure project excellence. You'll lead high-performing teams, apply structured problem-solving to complex national programs, and support the growth of junior colleagues.
About you
You are a highly motivated individual with a background in construction project management, contract administration, and/or engineering. You have proven experience leading complex projects in a client-facing advisory role. Ideally, you possess experience within the Defence sector or on other Major Precinct or Civil Infrastructure Programs. You demonstrate strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts and project budgets. Your communication and stakeholder management skills are excellent, allowing you to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline like engineering, project management, or construction is required.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the projects, you must be an Australian citizen and either hold a current NV1 security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one. An NV1 clearance provides access to classified information up to the SECRET level and requires a comprehensive 10-year background check. Deloitte will sponsor and support the right candidate through the AGSVA clearance process.
