We are seeking a talented Change & Release Manager to join our Operate team based in Perth. This is a permanent role that will support you in growing your career, working across a number of exciting client projects and an opportunity to be part of a market-leading team. The primary responsibility of the AMS Change & Release Manager is to ensure that all AMS-delivered changes are fully compliant, properly prepared, and successfully approved within the customer’s change governance framework. This role acts as the crucial link between the AMS delivery team and the customer’s Change Advisory Board (CAB) process. In practical terms, the manager does not own CAB decisions but rather is responsible for the AMS team’s readiness for CAB submission.

What will your typical day look like?

The AMS Change & Release Manager owns the responsibility of ensuring that each change is ready to be judged by the customer CAB.

  • Review and validate incoming change requests to ensure they meet CAB readiness criteria
  • Work closely with developers and analysts to ensure all required documentation, testing evidence, and impact assessments are complete
  • Package and coordinate changes into releases aligned with customer timelines
  • Submit changes to CAB and represent AMS during discussions where required
  • Track approvals, rejections, and follow up on any actions post-CAB
  • Communicate outcomes to the team and ensure changes are on track for deployment
  • Maintain quality control by rejecting incomplete or low-quality submissions

About the team

The team operates within the AMS environment, focusing on structured change and release management. It works closely with developers, functional analysts, and solution architects to ensure all changes meet quality and readiness standards before reaching the customer. Acting as a bridge between internal teams and the customer’s governance process, the team follows well-defined processes and maintains a strong focus on consistency, collaboration, and delivering high-quality outcomes aligned with customer expectations.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

  • Strong experience in change and release management, ideally within AMS or similar environments
  • Good understanding of CAB processes, risk assessment, and impact analysis
  • Ability to enforce process, push back when needed, and maintain quality standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with developers and technical teams to ensure readiness
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation, testing, and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple changes and deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment
