At Deloitte’s Capital & Program Advisory team in Perth, we work with executive leaders across asset-intensive organisations to improve capital productivity, transform operating models and deliver large-scale transformation programs.

 

We are seeking an Associate Director or Director to lead complex engagements and partner with clients to solve complex operational challenges and deliver practical outcomes across major projects, assets and organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

 

As an Associate Director / Director, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, capital delivery and operational transformation.

 

You will:

 

  • Lead complex client engagements addressing capital productivity, operating model redesign and major program performance
  • Partner with executive stakeholders across energy, mining and infrastructure organisations
  • Structure ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, analysis and actionable recommendations
  • Translate insights into compelling executive narratives that influence critical decisions
  • Shape and lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams across strategy, analytics and operational delivery
  • Play a key role in developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts
  • Contribute to practice development, including thought leadership, market propositions and team capability building
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, helping develop the next generation of consultants

 

 

About the team

 

Deloitte’s Capital and Program Advisory team works with asset-intensive organisations to improve performance across the full asset lifecycle. We work with executive teams to improve asset performance, reduce structural cost, manage critical risks and deliver large-scale transformation programs.

Our Perth team works across energy, mining, infrastructure and industrial sectors, helping organisations navigate major investment cycles while improving capital efficiency and operational performance.

 

About your experience

 

We are seeking an experienced consulting Associate Director/ Director with a strong background in capital projects and operational transformation.

 

To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:

 

  • Significant consulting or advisory experience within a Tier 1 consulting firm, boutique or mid-tier consulting practice, engineering/ infrastructure advisory firm or a leading asset-intensive organisation.
  • Deep experience in large-scale transformation, capital project advisory and complex program delivery.
  • Exposure to major energy, mining, utilities or major infrastructure programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and manage senior client relationships
  • Experience developing business opportunities and expanding client accounts
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
