We are seeking a skilled and experienced Testing Manager to join our Workforce Payroll Solutions (WPS) team, with specific experience and knowledge in the planning, direction, management and execution of Human Capital Technology testing (e.g. core, talent, workforce management and payroll. As a Manager you will play a crucial role in successfully managing the business and systems testing components as part of HCM technology projects and applying this knowledge and experience to advise our clients on test preparation and defect management. In addition, you will provide advice and guidance to team members to help educate and develop their testing knowledge and management capabilities.

 

What will your day look like?

As a Workforce Management and Payroll Test Manager you day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will manage comprehensive testing activities though out the project life cycle, engage in strategic leadership with stakeholders, and foster team development through coaching and mentoring. In addition, you will be managing and tailoring plans base on project complexity and client capability to deliver successful outcomes.

Enough about us, let's talk about you  

You will be someone with a genuine interest in both the human and technical side of HR, payroll and workforce management technology. While you’ll certainly have deep expertise in test management, you’ll need to bring an aptitude for consulting in a client-facing environment. 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience (min. 3 years) in the planning and management of technology testing
  • Experience in planning, delivery or management of HR technology testing across recruitment & onboarding, talent management, core HR, rostering, absence management, time & attendance and payroll
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the key HR technology test phases such as unit, systems, integration, user acceptance, parallel and deployment readiness testing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables. 
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Business, HR, IT or related areas are advantageous.
