We are seeking a Workforce Data Analytics superstar to join our Resource Management team!
Join our team of specialists providing our Resource Managers with essential data insights, enabling the allocation of practitioners on client work and ensuring the availability of strategic Workforce Management reporting to the A&A business.
Data and Reporting is an area of growth for the team, and we are seeking a highly competent analyst who is excited about contributing to our reporting suite, being involved in system changes and making an impact through data.
We are open to candidates from Sydney or Melbourne and offer a hybrid working environment.
What will your typical day look like?
Working closely with the Reporting Manager, your day might include: selecting, extracting and transforming data, producing and publishing reports, investigating and resolving queries and issues, developing new features and functionality in line with business requirements, designing & executing quality control checks and testing, and ensuring that our documentation library is always updated.
When needed, you will also support the day-to day operational activities and consultative functions associated with enterprise workforce planning.
The position will require exceptional data literacy, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and an appetite for change. You will leverage your growth mindset to continuously develop your understanding of professional services and resource management.
About the team
Each member of our Team is a trusted advisor ensuring that the right people are on the right jobs at the right time. Our Technical team play a pivotal role in achieving our mission through the delivery of reporting, insights and enablement programmes, to support the client facing team, whose key responsibility is to ensure the optimal resourcing solution for the client, the business, and the individual in a timely and commercially sound manner. The Resource Management team manages the allocation of practitioners on client work, influences capability development for individuals across the business while also providing strategic recommendations and resourcing insights to the leadership team. We work in collaboration with other key partners across Human Resources, Quality, Finance and Talent Acquisition.

You will love building out complex reports using new and established methods, wrangling unruly data sets, have a passion for storytelling through data visualisation and be able to clearly communicate with Senior stakeholders and the wider team.
You are also someone with:

2+ years' experience working across data analytics with previous experience working in professional services highly valued.

Strong history of Data Wrangling using Excel, VBA, Macros, SQL, Python or similar, & Data Visualisation using Excel, PowerBI & Tableau. Experience in automation of processes & tasks highly regarded.

2+ years’ experience in report development, including capturing user stories, requirements or similar, developing reports, conducting testing, and maintaining documentation.

Experience in structured problem solving & root cause analysis, leveraging a strong commercial acumen and technical know-how.

Demonstrable understanding of the professional services environment with prior experience in resource management, workforce planning, staffing or scheduling preferred.

Excellent communication skills, is extremely organised, proactive, and has a positive attitude coupled with energy, motivation, and enthusiasm.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on several simultaneous tasks and projects, prioritising as needed.
