Our Vacationer Program is a paid summer internship (8 weeks) offering real client exposure, project work, and structured onboarding. You’ll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early Graduate offer. 

Program dates: November 2026 – February 2027

Eligibility: Penultimate-year students and PR or Citizen of Australia or NZ Citizens  

About the team 

This M&A team brings diverse thinkers from commerce, quantitative finance, science, mathematics, and consulting to work together in a dynamic and creative environment. You can learn from the best as you craft bespoke solutions for our clients! 

Our dedicated Modelling & Insights team creates solutions, not spreadsheets, to help businesses better evaluate strategic options, new ventures, proposed transactions or existing operations. 

What will your typical day look like?

Every day brings different challenges and opportunities in the Modelling & Insights team. From day one, you’ll be trusted with real responsibilities to:

• Provide public and private sector clients across different industries with insightful analysis in critical decision making

• Gain exposure to forecasting and planning, business cases, quantitative policy analysis, project finance, mergers and acquisitions — you name it!

• Learn from our experts how to support clients making their most complex decisions through bespoke modelling solutions.

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback, and collaboration.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

We’re seeking penultimate-year students to join our vacationer program. As a naturally curious, bright, ambitious and hard-working student, you’ll also:  

• Be studying a relevant degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Data, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business/ Commerce with Accounting, Economics, or Finance, STEM with Commerce, and anything analytical

• Have an inquisitive nature and an insatiable hunger to learn more
• Possesses strong analytical and/or quantitative skills
• Have a unique approach to problem-solving with an ability to think logically, analytically, and creatively

• Be a strong communicator – both verbal and written

• Be an Australian permanent resident or Australian/New Zealand Citizen
