Our Internal Audit team looks at the systems, interfaces and IT environments that businesses rely on every day, and tests whether the controls around them are working as they should. Through our Vacationer Program, you'll spend your summer building hands-on IT audit skills with a team that works closely with Finance Audit on real client risk.
What will your typical day look like?
Over the course of your internship, you'll work alongside experienced team members on real client engagements, learning how IT Audit support financial reporting and reduce risk. You'll build your understanding of business processes, systems and control environments through hands-on work, feedback and day-to-day coaching.

Liaise with clients to understand their business processes, system interfaces and IT infrastructure.

Assess whether IT Audit are designed and operating effectively to address financial audit risks.

Support the team to document findings and evaluate whether controls align with expected standards and practices.
As well as learning in the flow of work, you'll be part of our structured Vacationer Program. You'll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early graduate offer.
About the team
You'll be joining a group of IT Auditors who work closely with Finance Audit to assess the systems and controls that support financial reporting. The team helps clients navigate increasingly complex IT environments and understand where their risks sit. It's a strong learning environment, with support from buddies, coaches and experienced team members built into the day-to-day. If you're curious about how technology, risk and audit come together, this team gives you real exposure from the start.

We're seeking penultimate-year students to join our Vacationer Program.
You may have all or some of the following:

Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Interest in IT audit and technology risk

Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback

Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture

You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Information Systems, IT or Computer Science
