What will your typical day look like?
We are seeking a Strategy Director, with in-depth experience across the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
As a Director, you will work with C-Suite level stakeholders and lead critical projects to develop new strategies, shape and deliver business transformation, and design operating models, seeking to shape and initiate strategic direction, define vision and choices, support performance and enable change.
You will lead and learn from a group of experienced strategists and industry experts from a diverse range of backgrounds. You will demonstrate deep familiarity with the TMT landscape, including the evolution of consumer demands and the competitive landscape, the rise of digital platforms and industry disrupters, the integration of new and emerging technologies including AI and the factors driving organisations towards digital transformation and optimising operations.
This knowledge should extend beyond theoretical awareness and include a demonstrated ability to integrate these insights into strategic recommendations that address operational complexities and emerging client needs.
As a Director, your day-to-day responsibilities may include;
- Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our Strategy and Business Design practice. You will drive business development efforts and oversee the delivery of high-impact projects
- Leverage strong strategy and technology knowledge and skill set, combined with a commercial mind-set, to quickly identify complex business challenges, and partner with client senior executive to address these key business challenges
- Lead the design and delivery of business and technology strategies, guiding clients in developing, implementing, and embedding technology-enabled solutions that address critical business challenges
- Lead and oversee several cross-functional client project teams concurrently, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality results - using innovative approaches to solve clients' strategic challenges
- Utilise data-driven approaches, including statistical analysis and modelling, to generate meaningful insights and guide business strategies
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability and desire to develop others in their careers
- Foster a culture of growth by mentoring junior consultants, developing internal management consulting capabilities, and contributing to business development
- Contribute to the growth of the broader practice through thought leadership and knowledge sharing, whilst helping support team recruitment and onboarding, learning and growth, and culture and connection

As a Director, you will likely possess a tertiary degree with an outstanding academic record, coupled with demonstrated strategy consulting experience in a Tier 1 consulting firm, strategy boutique or senior internal corporate project advisory roles. In addition, you will demonstrate exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise mature judgment.
Given the stakeholder requirements associated with the role, you are likely to possess highly effective communication skills, allowing you to build trust and credibility with key stakeholders, driving key outcomes and developing new opportunities. You will also bring proven experience working with senior executives and C-suite leaders to shape strategy and deliver business outcomes.
Furthermore, you will demonstrate proven capabilities in team leadership, mentoring and people management, developing effective and efficient work environments, enabling others to work to the best of their abilities.
