Deloitte’s Digital Identity practice is Australia's leading Identity and Access Management consultancy. Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Identity expert to join the team and support our continued growth.


As a leader in our Identity team, you will use your 3+ years of delivery experience in identity strategy and identity delivery to help our clients solve their most complex problems.

With a wonderful mix of high-performing industry specialists, strategists, and technologists, we help clients prioritise and plan their future and then work side-by-side with them to deliver.


Our specialty is across all things Identity: Access Management, Identity Management and Privileged Access Management – all aspects of how people interact with process and technology.


Our team leads the market, contributing to how government and industry thinks about Identity on topics like Open Banking, Citizen Identity and Self-Sovereign Identity.


What does the role require?

As key part of our identity strategy team, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to both sell and deliver engagements. We are industry agonistic but are seeing demand from our financial services and government clients for transformation related services.


You will need to:


  • Work with clients. Engage with our clients and the broader Deloitte team to identify, define their vision for identity and to solve their Identity-related issues.  You will need to define engagements with clients, and then deliver those projects through to completion.
  • Help us build the practice.  We will need your help to write responses to RFPs, contribute plans through business development activities and to hire additional staff.  As a member of our team, your contribution will matter.
  • Help us lead the team.  We’re hiring you because of your skills and experience in identity strategy and would love you to help us develop the team.  Share your experience to provide technical mentorship to our juniors!
  • Help us build your profile.  We want you to make a name for yourself within both Deloitte and industry.  We will encourage you to be involved in market activities – papers, presentations, and the like – and we will support you through picking up certifications / qualifications related to your role.

We want someone with solid experience delivering Identity strategy engagements.  You understand projects and know what ‘good’ looks like.  You will be considered a safe pair of hands who can deliver solutions to complex problems independently and on-time.


You will need to:

  • Be trusted to deliver work largely independently and use your mastery of technical consulting skills to direct others
  • Apply fundamental project management skills in scoping, designing, and planning projects
  • Build highly effective small teams while guiding junior strategy practitioners and building strong client relationships
  • Understand the end-to-end sales process, and lead subsections of proposals and small initiatives internally. 
  • Using your 3-5 years of prior consulting or industry experience and project management skillset, you can confidently scope, design, and deliver projects in unfamiliar industries, while directing others within a small team and guiding junior practitioners. With your creativity, adaptability, and commercial acumen, you will lead the development of deliverable subsections and build strong client relationships
