This is your chance to shape how Deloitte and our clients harness data, automation, and AI to transform tax. As a Tax Technology Analyst, you’ll help design and deliver digital solutions that not only streamline compliance, but also unlock insights and reimagine what’s possible in the tax function.
This role is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in building the capability in our Tax Transformation & Technology Team. Working closely with clients and cross functional teams, this role will be responsible for delivering large Digital Tax solutions and Tax Transformation projects. Focus will primarily on strategically drive the product incubation, development, Go-To-Market and ongoing support as well as ensuring that projects meets defined business objectives.

What will your typical day look like?
This role presents excellent opportunities for challenging work, professional development and career progress. You’ll be working with a diverse team to manage internal and external projects that will define the future of tax functionalities used in the firm, while balancing the tension between delivering efficiently today and innovating for tomorrow.
Your areas of focus will include:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more Tax digital products, from discovery to scaling and optimisation
- Define and continuously refine the product value proposition, investment case, commercial model and pricing strategy.
- Translate strategic growth objectives into prioritised backlogs focused on high-value, revenue-generating initiatives
- Drive measurable product performance improvements across revenue, adoption, retention and margin
- Partner with Tech Leads and Engineers (onshore and offshore) to shape backlog, refine requirements and estimate feature complexity
- Be technically fluent enough to engage in architectural discussions (SQL, Python, .NET experience highly regarded)
- Engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand business problems and customer needs
- Support pre-sales conversations, client demos and solution positioning
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive cross-sell and upsell growth.
- Drive structured Product Discovery (customer interviews, prototyping, experimentation, validation).
- Manage delivery risks, budgets and resource allocation with commercial discipline.
- Coach Enable and uplift Product Analysts and BAs to operate in a product-led, value-driven model.
- Foster a growth mindset and experimentation culture.

You’re an advocate for change and excited about process improvement, innovative technologies, growing a business and having variety in the work you do. You’ll bring experience in one or more of the following competencies:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in digital and AI solutions
- Strong understanding of product discovery frameworks and hypothesis-driven development
- Strong business analysis capability; able to translate tax requirements into digital solutions
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve product design, delivery and requirements processes
- Ability to define value propositions and scaling products with clear commercial outcomes (revenue growth, adoption uplift, margin improvement)
- Experience working closely with engineering teams and engaging in technical discussions
- Demonstrated ability to define and measure KPIs/OKRs tied to growth
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and clients.
- Experience in professional services, tax, finance or regulated environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with building tax data engines, digital platforms, automation and AI agents (preferred).
- Curiosity and growth mindset, comfortable challenging legacy processes and driving change.
