WHAT WE DO
•    We provide specialist skills in networking, security and cloud consulting to a variety of clients and across industry verticals.
•    We work closely with our DevOps and platform engineers, providing next-gen cloud and enterprise networking and security solutions.   
•    We use automation (often code written in-house) to solve complex network tasks and accelerating our delivering and assurance.
•    We help clients navigate and deliver next-gen networking topics such as Software-Defined-x, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), NetDevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Networking.
•    Our typical engagements include anything within the spectrum of: technology strategy; network assessments (gap and maturity); remediation activities; migrations (e.g. DC consolidation, or to cloud); technology sourcing; large-scale cloud delivery / network transformational programs (options analysis, design, build, test, integrate, migrate etc). 
•    We pride ourselves on visually slick and highly polished outputs. We produce deliverables & outputs to be proud of. 

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


But enough about us, let’s talk about you! Technical consulting is at the ‘sharp end of IT’ where a blend of your technology experience/accomplishments combines with softer (consulting/people) skills. The traits we look for across these domains include: 

Technical Skills - ‘Must-Have’
•    A widely skilled engineer focused on Networking and Network Security, backed by over 6 years of experience.  Regarded as an authoritative expert, demonstrated leader, with significant experience in across Networking domains (routing, switching, load balancing, firewalling etc). 
•    Demonstrated experience in leading network delivery work in one or more of the following areas: Assessments, Design, Architecture, Migrations & Transformations. 
•    Professional certifications in the Networking industry, including vendors such as: Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba etc. and a willingness to expand experience into cloud and coding.  
•    Ability to consult to clients on industry best practices & emerging technologies within the Networking & Cloud domains, as well as articulating client pain points and designing technological and/or process solutions to these challenges. 

Technical Skills - ‘Nice to have’. 
•    Demonstrated knowledge or entry-to-intermediate level certifications in AWS (Cloud Practitioner; Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking Speciality); or GCP/Azure equivalents.
•    Demonstrated knowledge or certifications in NetDevOps (Python, Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI, IaC, APIs etc).

Softer/Consulting/People Skills    
1.    You are strategic, resilient, engaging with people, a natural self-starter, with mature problem-solving skills. 
2.    You have strong communication, documentation & presentation skills with a focus on quality.
3.    You have a passion for continuously improving your skills and experience.
4.    From a client engagement perspective, you are expected to be able to lead a project team of engineers/consultants, managing the full project lifecycle (scope; plan; execute; confidence in running workshops; providing strategic direction on activities/design/architecture; conducting task structuring & delegation - with you yourself making significant contributions, undertaking stakeholder/program management throughout, with inherent ability to manage the financial/quality/risk dimensions of delivery). 
5.    From a business perspective, an ability to build and maintain client relationships at a senior level, and recognise business opportunities when they arise, and assist with proposal creation.
6.    You have an ability to distil and communicate complex technical concepts, refocusing content and finely articulating key decision points for executive audiences.  
7.    You are confident in the role of being a trusted advisor, with one/two nominated areas for which you are an SME and are passionate about, in addition to many secondary domains that you can provide strategic consulting advice across.
