What will your typical day look like?  

In response to the growing demand both globally and here in Australia for Trustworthy AI Governance and Risk Management Services, we are looking to hire a Senior Manager to join our national team delivering market leading advice and practical solutions that make a material impact to our clients, our people and society.    

  

We are seeking a Senior Manager with demonstrated experience in AI Governance, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and operationalising AI Governance Frameworks, including: AI Impact and Risk Assessments, supporting service delivery and product development, team building and client-facing sales.     

   

Ideally located in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you will work with potential and existing clients across a wide range of industries and the public sector, to advise, deliver and implement customised Trustworthy AI capabilities. 

  

The successful candidate will have responsibility to:   

  • Support our clients to achieve their AI agenda by advising on safe and responsible AI policies, standards and practices  

  • Design and implement AI governance frameworks and operating models that support compliance with emerging direct and indirect regulations and legislation 

  • Assess the risks associated with AI Systems and use cases 

  • Design and implement technical and procedural AI controls 

  • Assess the effectiveness of AI controls 

  • Shape the future of Trustworthy AI by contributing to thought leadership in the field  

  • Support leadership in growing our Trustworthy AI business  

  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends, innovations and AI regulations  

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, craft compelling proposals and drive successful client engagements  

  • Mentor and inspire the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth  

  • Maintain the highest quality in every project, reflecting our commitment to excellence

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:   

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, AI risk domains, AI controls/guardrails and AI governance programs. Working knowledge of Generative AI infrastructure and common foundational models. As well as a working understanding of Agentic AI concepts and technology. 

  • Relevant Qualification: An advanced degree in any of the following disciplines: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security 

  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess and mitigate AI risks, considering enterprise risk frameworks 

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI regulatory environment, ethical standards and industry best practices  

  • Business Development: Experience identifying business opportunities, developing proposals and driving successful client engagements   

  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders   

  • Client Engagement: Experience in client-facing roles, with a history of advising and supporting clients on AI governance and risk management   

  • Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on fostering professional growth and development  

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities 

  • Project Management: Solid project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time  

  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, industry leaders and internal teams  

  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest Trustworthy AI trends, innovations and regulatory changes
