Senior Consultant - Technology Strategy & Transformation - Melbourne

Our Technology, Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) team, is at the forefront of modern technology architecture to help our clients re-imagine their business, solve the most complex technology problems and help them accelerate their transformational journey. We are currently hiring experienced Enterprise and Solution Architects at Senior consultants levels within our practice in Melbourne for the following areas of expertise:


  • IT strategy development, data analysis and reviews
  • Technical and domain level knowledge in areas of Digital, Cloud, Emerging Technologies, Information, Integration and Infrastructure architecture
  • Working with Architecture mapping tools
  • Development of Architecture portfolios of work, aligned to IT strategies
  • Performing Architecture reviews and impact analysis
  • Project and delivery management including agile ways of working
  • Setting architecture design standards, principles, patterns and governance
  • Business side consultation and advisory on architecture best practice and governance of technology projects through architecture best practice


What will your typical day look like?  

Never expect a boring day in our Tech, Strategy & Transformation team. Every project is different and exciting as you gain experience across a range of. Supported with comprehensive training, our tech advisors have a strong foundation in technology architecture and tools that allow us to radically improve and transform the way our clients work and make an impact in their markets. As a Senior Consultant expect to:


  • Work closely with our clients as a trusted advisor completing analysis to understand their problems and form recommendations
  • Complete research and explore ideas to help solve complex business and technology problems
  • Analyse current and future states, develop IT strategy, business cases and architecture 
  • Support our clients to explore innovation in the market and procure the services and solutions they need (IT sourcing)
  • Develop requirements using design techniques across application, information, integration, infrastructure and security domains
  • Provide solution advice end technical assurance
  • Provide program and transformation architecture support

Our dynamic Melbourne team sits as part of a connected national and APAC team. It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology architecture enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable growth; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex business and technology problems; and how to execute technology-led transformations. By joining our team you gain access to a network of local and global experts to answer our client’s problems and to grow you as a professional.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with 5+ years' experience in an architecture role, preferably in a business or client facing role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment, in one or more of the following areas:


  • Enterprise Design including Enterprise and Solution Architecture
  • Passionate about IT Strategy, Innovation and Emerging Technologies
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Technology Sourcing, Vendor Management
  • Fair knowledge of modern technologies such as AWS/Azure and IoT
  • Product Lifecyle Management experience
  • Certification or experience applying TOGAF or ITIL methodologies (preferred)
