The Deloitte – Asset Management Team provides a dynamic environment where you will work on challenging projects, across a range of high-profile client organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

In this Melbourne based role, you will engage directly with high profile public and private sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority asset and operational related problems.

You will also:

Senior Consultant:

1. Support a high-performing team, dedicated to enhancing client profitability and performance.
2. Be a part of project workstreams, focusing on outcomes, measuring and capturing client benefits and mentoring junior staff.
3. Address complex private and public sector initiatives across power and water utilities, transport, mining, oil and gas, government and emergency services.
4. Collaborate internally and leverage Deloitte’s capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics, and global consulting expertise.
5. Develop Asset Management expertise to support and enhance project delivery, including contribution to building standardised tools and knowledge bases.
6. Support pursuit of client opportunities to build a robust work pipeline.
7. Collaborate with business and senior executives to define new project objectives and shape deliverables as a part of expanding our Specialist Assets network.
8. Travel may be required.

Manager:

In response to strong client demand for our services we are currently seeking outstanding consultants for our Asset Management team. We encourage anyone with experience in management consulting, operational excellence, program/project management, technology implementation (Enterprise Asset Management, Field Mobility etc.), or similar capabilities across a variety of industries to apply.  We are working in the Defence and Justice sectors and are interested in people who have clearances to do this work.

You are someone with:

Senior Consultant:

• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Sound prior experience in management consulting, operational excellence, program/project management, technology implementation (Enterprise Asset Management, Field Mobility etc.), or similar capabilities.
• Demonstratable problem-solving capabilities with a track record of navigating complexity and designing robust approaches and solutions.
• Experience in benefits scoping and benefits realisation.
• Mature stakeholder management and communication skills and demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with broad stakeholder groups.

Specific experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

• Improvement program design and delivery.
• Process and requirements definition to support technology solution design.
• Application of consulting methods/tools to support complex problem solving.

Manager:

• 5+ years relevant experience.
• Strong prior experience in management consulting, operational excellence, program/project management, technology implementation (Enterprise Asset Management, Field Mobility etc.), or similar capabilities.
• Demonstratable problem-solving capabilities with a track record of navigating complexity and designing robust approaches and solutions.
• Experience in benefits realisation and business case development and approvals.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills and demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with broad stakeholder groups.

Specific experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

• Improvement program design and delivery.
• Process and requirements definition to support technology solution design.
• Application of consulting methods/tools to support complex problem solving.
