In response to the growing demand for the team’s Regulatory and Compliance Transformation services, we are looking to hire critical thinkers and problem solvers to join our national team. We are looking for professionals with 4-8 years experience in Professional Services, Government or First or Second Line operations experience. This could be in regulatory or compliance role, a policy role, business operational leadership role or in project delivery. Ideally, you will have a background in Power and/or Utilities and/or the policy or regulation that supports the sector.  
 
Using your unique skills and experience, you champion transformational change, deliver market leading advice and develop practical solutions that make a material impact to our clients, our people and society. This will encompass the people, process, data and technology changes underpinning First and Second Line Transformation programs. You will help embed risk and regulatory driven change in the business through efficient business analysis, risk and control design and review, and improvement of assurance processes.

Some of the work we do includes:

  • Develop risk management strategies and frameworks, supporting clients to translate business strategies into clear set of metrics and advising on key risk management principles to protect and deliver their business strategy
  • Transforming the way clients leverage people, technology, data, business processes and controls, to address their operational risks and raise productivity
  • Delivery of a portfolio of projects across a range of industries focusing on providing our clients with evidence based actionable insights to reduce risk and improve compliance 
  • Provide credit risk advice across all credit risk management activities and processes from underwriting, customer management, collections and recoveries
  • Shape strategy, define policy and navigate the regulatory environment
  • Both autonomous and collaborative working with Directors and Partners to bring the best of our global network and thought leadership to clients, manage large change and business remediation programs, and respond to the requirements of key regulatory bodies
  • Taking ownership for the delivery of business analysis activities within a stream of work, across programs/projects to deliver project goals
  • Program/project management office portfolio roles to ensure the delivery of project goals to agreed schedule and quality
  • Devise and deploy effective communication strategies and supporting materials
  • Provide analytical insights to our clients through data we capture 

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:

  • Understanding of the compliance approaches and associated frameworks, policies, procedures, and strategies
  • Experience in risk and compliance approaches, methodologies and techniques; governance; data risk; operational risk; financial risk; emerging regulation or conduct issues
  • Experience in reviewing, designing and building compliance management frameworks, or elements thereof such as compliance management strategies, compliance/control reporting, compliance assessments and GRC systems
  • Leadership skills and previous experience with developing the capability of individuals, and leading teams to deliver high quality client outcomes
  • Highly developed business communication skills, both verbally and through the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • A broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing and working in diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
  • Ability to ensuring deliverables meet stakeholders’ expectations directly or via team members, and will have the ability to lead in a cross-functional environment, resolve conflicts, drive decisions, and manage ambiguity 
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with project team members & senior client stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations related to business analysis/process stream scope and service to influence project outcomes, and will also be leveraging waterfall and agile project delivery experience to influence project planning and delivery to achieve project goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and independently deliver, and you will foster a team culture that is adaptable to changing needs and supports team members
