We are seeking a dedicated SMSF Specialist (Senior Analyst) based in Melbourne.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As an SMSF Specialist in our Private Tax team, you will support a group of talented Managers, Directors and Partners who assist some of Australia’s most iconic families and private enterprises. Your client portfolio will include self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF) for these family groups and high-profile individuals.

 

You will be responsible for reviewing initial information from engagement teams/clients and performing a comprehensive review of financials and returns prepared by our offshore team. You will answer queries from the offshore team on both fund specific matters and processing in Class. You will liaise with engagement teams to respond to queries and finalise accounts packs for Manager review. You will also perform some processing of transactions within Class software.

You are someone with: 

  • 2 – 4 years prior experience at a professional or accounting services firm (preferred)
  • Experience in Class software (required)
  • Superannuation experience (required)
  • Completed or pursuing CA/CPA
  • Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills
