What will your typical day look like?   

Working alongside talented and likeminded professionals, you will be part of high performing teams delivering digitally enabled audit services of the highest quality to clients from a diverse range of industry segments.

 

Learning on the job through hands on coaching, feedback and development opportunities, you will get exposure to solving technical accounting matters, using data analytics to analyse business drivers & performance as well as team leadership and client relationship building skills. In turn, you will play a critical role as both a coach and mentor for future talent.

 

You will have the opportunity to work with our Technical Accounting and Audit Quality teams as well as specialists in areas such as Technology and Internal Controls, Tax & Legal, Risk Advisory and Consulting. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to explore internal transfers that broaden and amplify your professional development.

  

About the team  

In the Listed team, you will get the exposure to a diverse range of clients: ASX Listed, private equity, large-scale multi-national groups. Industry segments include:

 

  • Consumer & Industrial Products: Retail, wholesale, travel, hospitality and manufacturing
  • Energy & Resources: Power, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, chemicals and construction
  • Tech, Media & Telco: Technology, media and telecommunications
  • Life Sciences & Healthcare: Pharmaceuticals, hospitals and healthcare services
  • Real estate

 

In Audit & Assurance, our specialist accounting skills empower clients with a crystal-clear understanding of their financial position. We don’t just understand our clients’ businesses, we excavate major opportunities and identify risks beyond traditional financial reporting functions. Through constant collaboration and professional development, we turn clients’ frustration into assurance with our sophisticated and tailored advice on corporate transactions like acquisitions, divestments, recapitalisations and capital raisings.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  
You are someone with:

  • An Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business and/or Accounting
  • Completed (or close to completion) CA qualifications or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit (ideally from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting services firm)
  • A self-starter attitude with an ability to drive results and take initiative to identify areas of opportunity
  • Ability to identifying business and financial risks, plan audits and run engagements acting as the senior in charge
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with our clients and cultivate new ones
  • Excellent collaborative skills, precision thinking and a dedicated work ethic
  • Enthusiasm and a passion to succeed
  • Ability to identify scope and solve problems
  • Strong excel skills including working with macros
